** FULL-TIME DISPATCHER **
Responsibilities include receiving, dispatching and recording telephone and radio communications, and NCIC and LEAPS communications according to FCC and Dept. regulations. Dispatches vehicles to calls for assistance. Keeps police and fire personnel informed of all facts affecting safety or the efficiency of their responses to the call. Performs all other duties as assigned. Performs typing and clerical functions. Must be able to work any of three scheduled shifts. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to type 35 wpm. Public safety dispatching knowledge of E-911 and computer aided dispatching preferred. ** ON-CALL NURSE **
The Health Department is seeking on-call nurses to assist with the administration of vaccines, well-care clinics, home-bound visits, etc. Qualified individuals must have a BS in Nursing, a valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse license, and two years of nursing experience, and possess excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
