MEETING MINUTES
March 25, 2010, 9 AM
Town Counsel’s Office, 40 Grove Street, Wellesley
Attending: Neal Seaborn, Chair, Paul Cramer, Vice Chair, Heidi Gross, Secretary, Ursula King, Joan Gaughan, Janet Hartke Bowser, NRC Director.
Guests: Al Robinson, Town Counsel, William Brooks, Deputy Police Chief, Mike Pakstis, DPW Director, Mike Quinn, DPW Assistant Superintendent of Parks and Trees.
Public Voice
No one attending the meeting spoke at Public Voice.
Executive Session Regarding the Unauthorized Removal of Town Trees at Boulder Brook Reservation and Potential Litigation
After a motion was made and seconded, each NRC Member was individually polled and voted in favor of entering into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing the unauthorized tree removals at the Boulder Brook Reservation and potential litigation.
The NRC voted to exit from Executive Session once this discussion was completed and to return to Public Session to complete the NRC Meeting Agenda.
Review and Approval of the NRC Meeting Minutes of February 24, 2010 and the Executive Meeting Minutes of February 24, 2010
After a motion was made and seconded, the NRC voted 3-0 (Ms. Gaughan could not vote on the minutes as she was not at the meeting and Ms. King could not vote on the minutes, as she was not a member of the NRC at this time) to approve the NRC Meeting Minutes of February 24, 2010 and the Executive Meeting Minutes of February 24, 2010 as written.
Next Scheduled NRC Meeting
The next NRC meeting was scheduled for April 5, 2010 at 7 PM, directly preceding the beginning of the Annual Town Meeting at the Wellesley Middle School.
Adjournment
After a motion was made and seconded, the NRC voted 5-0 to adjourn the meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 11 AM.
