MEETING MINUTES
January 9, 2012
Attendees: Bob Brown, Jason Curtin, Joan Gaughan, Miguel Lessing, Denny Nackoney, Jared Parker, Bob White
Guests: Dean Caruso, Nick Harper (WHS).
The meeting opened at 7:32 PM.
Projects
- Map houses at Cottage St., Ouellet Park and Warren Building have been secured by DPW.
- Final Encroachment Policy approved by all Boards involved. Encroachment Correction Procedure in final revision stage.
- Scout Macon Magee will carry out the Boulder Brook and Esker Trails reroutes
- Identified projects will be addressed in the spring: Cochituate Trail wet/eroded area west of Warren Bldg., map house at 27 Washington, parking on Boulevard Rd., and Crosstown extension to Natick.
- New maps for map houses and map flyers will be produced once the Trail behind 27 Washington is open (spring)
Walks and Events
- 2012 Spring Trails Walks’ leaders needed. To be defined at February meeting.
Trails Status
- Nothing new to report
Financial
- We were informed that FY12 Capital Budget is $4,762.39 instead of our belief of $5,000.00
- No charges were made since prior month.
Other
-~ Miguel will draft a proposal for communications between the Trails Committee and the Natural Resources Commission.
Next meeting scheduled for Wednesday February 15, 2012 at 7:30PM at the NRC office.
